Tutto \u00e8 iniziato in Salento negli anni ’70<\/h2>\n

La passione per la tradizione e l’amore per il territorio lo hanno portato alla ristorazione: inizia a lavorare in Versilia giovanissimo, facendo esperienza nei migliori ristoranti e hotel della costa tirrenica. Nel 1976 apre lo Yatching Club<\/em> di Santa Maria di Leuca<\/strong>, circolo nautico e ritrovo esclusivo del basso Salento. L’esperienza leucana va avanti fino ai primi anni Ottanta, quando Albino acquista una bomboniera nel centro di Santa Cesarea Terme<\/strong>, che trasforma da residenza estiva in ristorante: Il Villino<\/em><\/strong>, una terrazza mozzafiato da quasi quarant’anni.<\/span>

Nel frattempo Albino si \u00e8 sposato ed ha avuto due figli, Augusto<\/strong> e Giuseppe<\/strong>, che lo affiancano nella gestione dell’azienda. Augusto e Giuseppe sono cresciuti respirando l’amore del padre per il proprio lavoro, per la costa salentina e per le materie prime eccellenti.<\/p>\n

Le torri saracene sono un’altra grande passione della famiglia Merico. Nel 2011 inaugura Augustus Resort<\/strong>, struttura di lusso che sorge sul costone roccioso di Porto Miggiano<\/em>, proprio di fronte alla torre omonima – Torre Miggiano<\/em>, diventata uno dei simboli del Salento<\/em>. Augustus Resort<\/strong> \u00e8 una struttura moderna, un progetto completo in cui Merico Eventi \u00e8 riuscita a coniugare la grande tradizione del wedding<\/strong>, fiore all’occhiello della famiglia e dell’azienda, con l’organizzazione di eventi e i servizi alla balneazione.<\/p>\n

L’ultimo arrivato in questa grande famiglia di professionisti dell’ospitalit\u00e0 \u00e8 Palascia Wellness Relais<\/strong>, un luogo incantevole, mimetizzato nella terra rossa a due passi dalla Lago di Bauxite<\/em>, nella Baia delle Orte<\/em> a Otranto<\/strong>. La struttura \u00e8 un rifugio silenzioso, in cui l’ospitalit\u00e0 si fonde con la tradizione, per una vacanza lenta a contatto con la natura.
